Palm Tungsten T2 Handheld Category: Tablets This refresh of the first Tungsten-series Palm takes a good product and improves upon it.
300 MHz Axim X3 Handheld with 1-year Advanced Exchange Service Category: Tablets While it isn't loaded with features, this 300MHz handheld is an inexpensive and reliable Pocket PC. Sony CLI PEG-NR70V Category: Tablets This feature-rich model puts a whole new spin on what you can do with a Palm OS PDA but carries a pretty steep price tag. Palm Zire 71 Handheld Category: Tablets Palm finally has a well-priced handheld that can go toe-to-toe with Sony's midpriced CLIEs. Toshiba e405 Category: Tablets Except for its better-looking case, there's little to distinguish the Toshiba e405 from its predecessor. Palm m505 Category: Tablets The m505 is a serviceable PDA, but newer models from Palm and Sony have better color LCDs and are smarter buys. HP iPaq Pocket PC H3950 Category: Tablets The H3950 has lots of things to recommend it--especially its screen--but it's overpriced. Palm Zire Handheld Category: Tablets Palm has managed to lower the entry-level bar with the inexpensive and ultrabasic Zire. Navman PiN Category: Tablets Though powerful and practical, the Navman PiN's doppelgänger, the Mitac Mio 168, is the better of the two navigators. PEG-NX73V CLIE Handheld Category: Tablets Though we wish it had built-in wireless connectivity, the versatile NX73 is a less expensive, slightly improved version of the highly rated NX70. Asus MyPal A716 Category: Tablets With excellent features and strong performance, the A716 challenges but falls just short of established high-end Pocket PCs. Asus MyPal A636 Category: Tablets The Asus MyPal A636 is a PDA with a built-in GPS receiver that puts maps and directions on an equal footing with appointments and e-mail. While it delivers accurate directions and long battery life, it's a bit sluggish. Pharos Drive GPS 140 Category: Tablets Though the Pharos Drive GPS 140 has an accurate receiver and good Bluetooth integration, it will require patience on your part as it suffers from somewhat sluggish performance and an unintuitive interface. NEC MobilePro 790 Category: Tablets The MobilePro 790 finds the useful middle ground between a palmtop and full-fledged notebook. Sony Mylo 2 (white) Category: Tablets The Sony Mylo Communicator 2 is a huge improvement over its predecessor, but the Wi-Fi handheld will have a hard time competing with the similarly priced and better featured iPhones, Sidekicks, and Helio Oceans of the cellular world. 624 MHz Axim X50v Handheld with 1-Year Advanced Exchange Service and 1-Year Tech Support Category: Tablets The Dell Axim X50v is filled to the brim with PIM and entertainment features; unfortunately, it suffers from subpar performance. Tiger Telematics Gizmondo Category: Tablets The Gizmondo is packed with impressive features, but its lack of compelling games will relegate it to niche-product status. Toshiba Pocket PC e750 Category: Tablets Building on the strengths of its predecessor, the e750 can claim a place at the top of Pocket PC heap. Palm Tungsten T5 Handheld Category: Tablets Though it lacks Wi-Fi, the T5's solid performance and new features make it a perfect companion for mobile professionals. CLIE PEG-NZ90 Handheld with Digital Camera Category: Tablets This gadget lover's dream does so much that we wish it did just a little more--particularly considering its size and price. Garmin iQue 3000 Category: Tablets The Palm-based Garmin iQue 3000 is a competent organizer and navigator, but it's marred by mediocre performance and lacks some features that put it behind the competition. Palm m130 Category: Tablets The m130 is on the low end of the color-Palm spectrum, but it's a decent PDA for the price. ViewSonic Pocket PC V37 Category: Tablets The V37 doesn't do much to distinguish itself from HP's slim iPaq models, but it offers solid performance. HP iPaq rx5900 Travel Companion Category: Tablets The HP iPaq rx5900 Travel Companion delivers a sleek all-in-one navigation, productivity, and entertainment device to mobile professionals; we just wish it had better battery life. Toshiba Pocket PC e800 Category: Tablets While not the lightest or cheapest PDA, the e800 offers road warriors powerful performance and robust software. |
