Flipboard presets social news stories in a format similar to the New York Times website, with large columns and chunky enticing images. Clicking on a story takes you to the full story from the publishers website. Flipboard automatically pulls in text, images and even video relating to the story. Choose your filter settings and receive news that matter to you.

The great part about Flipboard, is that you can create your own hubs based on Twitter lists and other content. Its easy to stay up to date on the things you like and the content you want to read about.

Overall, Flipboard is great because its based on social news from a variety of sources rather than a single newspaper or editor. If you find the right content to filter, then Flipboard is the best aggregator for the iPad.
