A Minecraft mod that introduces tiny clay soldiers to your Minecraft world. Arm your different coloured teams and sit back and watch as these toy soldiers fight each other on the battlefield.
The Clay Soldiers Mod for Minecraft is a great mod for anyone who enjoyed toy soldiers as a child. Just craft mini soldiers using nothing more than a clay block and soulsand. Build up a collection of up to 16 in your hand and then let them loose in your Minecraft world. They will roam around the map looking for items to pick up, places to explore and enemies to fight. Even though they're small, these soldiers can climb single blocks and perform mini jumps as well.
There's no limit to the number of soldiers you can create so it's great fun setting up epic battles.
Who fights who?Soldiers will fight together with other soldiers of the same colour but will always fight against soldiers of a different colour. Using these rules, players can create teams of similarly coloured soldiers, spread them out over the Minecraft world and then leave them to battle it out.
Clay soldiers will not fight you.Arming your soldiersAlthough these tiny soldiers can fight with just their bare hands, you can arm them with a variety of weapons made from many of the Minecraft blocks and items. Clay soldiers are intelligent and will attempt to pick up dropped items such as sticks and stones (to use as weapons) or food (to use for heeling themselves).
The depth of the mod really makes clay soldiers worth trying. Even though the mod is relatively new, the creators have updated it to include a wide variety of craftable items that you can provide for your soldiers.

- Use a gold ingot to determine which soldier is the leader
- Create glow in the dark soldiers with lightstone dust
- Use sulphur to create exploding soldiers
- Use sugar to increase your armies speed
- Soldiers can use clay lumps to rebuild teammates
- Horses can be crafted from dirt blocks
- Use redstone dust as blinding powder
- If you get bored just use the clay disruptor to wipe out your entire army
