Accelerated Ideas was created back in 2005 from nothing more than a blank canvas and a desire to learn. Originally intended as a one off project the site proved to be a massive success, growing organically and attracting millions of viewers every month during its peak.
Like all websites it would be nothing without you and everyone else who comes to this site, being just a small part of it’s double decade success.
Unfortunately in recent years, the rise of AI has completely destroyed most home grown websites, including this one and so the difficult decision was taken to remove large portions of the site and keep others for reference material only.
I would like to personally thank each and everyone of you for making Accelerated Ideas a success and hope that the guides and information have proven useful over time.
I was born and raised in England, just north of London. I had the good fortune to grow up in the 80’s at a time when Star Wars and video games were a staple part of every kid's life.
My interest in computers started at an early age with the Commadore 64 and the Amiga. Later I would choose Computer Studies at school and move onto a Computer Science degree at University; learning about artificial intelligence, Java OO design and network programming in C++.
It wasn’t until 2005 that I focused on developing websites and infact this site was the first one I actually built.
