The 70-431 exam is one of the latest in a line of new exams. It can be used as elective credit for MCAD or MCSD certifications or alone as a MCTS certification (SQL Server 2005). The exam focuses directly on the latest features of SQL Server 2005 ranging from, installing & configuring SQL Server 2005 to implementing High Availability & Disaster Recovery. This exam should be chosen with caution for novice users, who may prefer the 70-229 SQL Server 2000 exam which has more readily available study material.
