The 70-526 exam is one of the latest in a line of new exams targeting the .Net framework 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005. It is part of the MCTS certification group, which also acts as the building block for MCPD. This exam is the second exam in the .Net framework 2.0 Windows Applications MCTS certification. Like its Web counterpart, this exam really steps up a gear from the previous MCTS 70-536 fundamental exam. Students are required to learn skills ranging from programming a Windows application, ADO.NET through to tracing and deployment of a Windows application.
