The MCTS certification is the latest in a line of new certifications for IT professionals who want to distinguish themselves in certain technologies. Current technologies include .NET 2.0 framework for Windows, Web or Distributed Apps, SQL Server 2005, BizTalk 2005 and more. The certification is slim in design with only a *handful of exams required for a given technology (SQL Server 2005 is only 1 exam!). This certification is therefore ideal for anyone wanting to prove their worth in a single given area.
