Developed by Team 17 (a big player in the Amiga games market who were later responsible for the Worms game), Super Frog was a 2D platform game that encompassed cute cartoon graphics, superb music and great gameplay. Just listen to the music track below and you’ll see what we mean!
The game was spread over 6 themed worlds with 23 levels in total. The player had to collect coins in order to open the exit door for each level. There were power-ups scattered along the way including wings, a green ball weapon, invisibility and Lucazade energy drinks. Skilled jumps, unlockable doors and strategically placed enemies made Superfrog similar in some ways to Super Mario or Sonic.
Although nowhere near as popular as Sonic or Mario - Super Frog still lives in the memory of any true Amiga fan.
