Works well
Works well and easy to install. Range is limited in picking up other networks. Was easily able to pick up wi-fi networks in my own house. I probably wouldn't use it constantly since it does get warm after extended use.

Solid product and super small
I really like this product. It is the first one I have used, and I haven't had any problems yet. The only downside, which I thought was an extra step, was having to install the software before using the product. Download speed on a 7 year old laptop is just as fast as my HP tablet that I bought new this year.

Works like a charm!
I've been using this since a couple of weeks, and it works great!
I tested it on many OSs: XP x86 (my brother's PC), XP x64 (mine), Vista x64 (dad) and 7 x64 RC (mine, virtual) and I had no issues at all!
I never install any device with it's "step-by-step" CD (I plug it and when Windows detect it and ask me to select drivers, I point the driver CD or folder), so, I cannot say if this comes with an easy or a complex install CD! :-)
Buffalo stands that only works with 32bits OS, but that's not true, as James Marks said, it's a RALink adapter really and... RALink DOES supports x64 OS so... with RALink drivers this adapter works great! in fact, i'm using those drivers right now ;-)

Cons:
- Plastic: yes! as many other devices (like webcams) it's made of some great looking plastic (like "mirrored") but I think it's a "cons" because I put it in my pocket for about 5 minutes, and it's already scratched!!! (and I reaaally hate when this happens!)
NOTE: I don't have an Wireless-N router so, I only tested it at G speeds.

very decent product
i purchased buffalo technologist nusb adapter for my 7" vye-usa tablet netbook which has atrocious wireless reception. setup using the included cd was very easy- only had to run it once. follow the directions- run the install cd first before you plug in the device. overall i am very happy with this n-usb adapter. here are my observations. i have noted from a cold boot the time has increased about 10-15 seconds- i assume this is from starting the device drivers and activating the device. from standbye not much has changed. i really like the form factor- ie it is really small. not visually or functionally obtrusive. as noted from another reviewer i too have not accidentally knocked it out of the usb port.
the main reason for my purchase was to increase the range of my tablet pc. my wireless router is downstairs and when surfing in my bedroom (house is about 5000 square feet)i could barely get a signal but with this device i get a very strong signal. i tested it with my dsl G-router and linksys n-router. with the g-router i get 54 Mbps with the n-router i get 65 Mbps. with my other netbook (asus) using its built in wireless i get 130 Mbps when connected to the n-router. i am not sure why that is. i have not tried installing the buffalo adapter on the asus netbook yet.
as far as setup i give it a 5 out of 5- quick and painless
as far as form factor 5 out of 5- very compact
performance i give it a 4 out of 5- i will not give it a 5 rating for 2 reasons. #1 i am not sure why i am not getting 130 Mbps when connected to the n-router when my other netbook does. #2 i have noticed when i am surfing and my wife is surfing on her laptop at the same time upstairs her laptop seems to win. (when we are downstairs near the router there is no issue) it appears at longer distances in the presence of another wireless device the buffalo technologies product cannot acquire a strong enough signal- even though it says i am connected at 54 Mbps- web pages take minutes to load instead of seconds.
overall i am very happy with this product as it serves its purpose. i can surf the internet and run my slingbox through my entire house at a very reasonable price. again, with my setup i did experience some performance difficulties when running other wireless devices simultaneously at longer distances. as with anything else your mileage may vary.
