The lady explains that 3 months ago she had an accident at home and damaged her leg during a fall. Upon examination the doctor suspects an infection and refers the lady for a Biopsy. Given the limited information disclosed, which one of the following is a possible diagnosis?

Osteomyelitis is a term that is used to describe an infection that occurs inside a bone. It is usually caused by a bacterial infection bur the condition can also develop as the result of a fungal infection.
