Tag: itil As the transition from v2 to v3 continues, OGC confirmed that the ITIL v2 Practitioner exam and the v3 Foundation Bridge exams will be withdrawn from the marketplace as of 31st December 2011. The exam will remain available only for results until June 2011.
If you are preparing to take this exam, you should arrange an exam date as soon as possible before it is withdrawn.
Other v2 exams such as Foundation, Manager and Foundation Bridge will only be available for re-sits until June 2011.

APMG-International have launched the Change Analyst qualification- their first role based qualification. The role is in response to industry demands for focused qualifications with a particular job role in mind.
The qualification tests a candidate's knowledge of Change within the ITIL Service delivery phase. ITIL v4 release in 2011? (Oct 2010) There have been no official announcements regarding ITIL v4, but the ITIL Update Project are working their way through v3 to improve the relevance of the core modules. This is the first big change to ITIL v3 since its launch in 2007. OGC discontinue ITIL v2 exams (Jun 2010) OGC has announced ITIL v2 exams will be discontinued starting from 30 June 2010. The new ITIL v3 framework replaces to old v2 material and exams.
