Microsoft 2nd shot is back - Retake any exam for free in 2012 and 2013

It's almost the 20th anniversary of the Microsoft Learning program (yes its been around that long) and to celebrate, Microsoft have brought back an old favourite called 2nd shot. Using a 2nd shot voucher, test takers can retake a failed exam for free! It's like a safety net for Microsoft exams.

It's not the first time that the 2nd shot program has been offered. Back in 2008, it was incredibly popular, helping thousands of candidates pass their exams. Like all good things though, they come to an end and so did the 2nd shot voucher. Thankfully, starting today you can get those vouchers again!

Why use a 2nd shot?

You'd be a fool to miss out on the 2nd shot voucher. It costs you nothing and takes seconds to apply for. It's a great way to boost your confidence, relieve the pressure and relax before taking your exam.

So how do you get a voucher for a free retake?

It's simple really. Just head over to the Microsoft Learning site and complete the form to apply for a 2nd shot voucher, link below:

Microsoft will send a Second Shot voucher to your email address. Just use this voucher when you register for your exam on the Prometric website and you'll automatically get the retake for free.

Then, if you're unfortunate enough to fail the exam the first time, you'll get the second attempt for free!

Which exams can I get a free retake for?

All of the major certification groups are included in this offer:

  • MCSA: Windows Server 2012
  • MCSA: Windows Server 2008
