You can either browse to the location of the GAC using Windows explorer, which is usually found at C\\WINDOWS\\Assembly.

The assembly viewer shows the following information for all assemblies present in the GAC:

Type, Version, Culture and Public Key Token.

OR

You can use the .Net framework configuration tool. Open the tool from:

Start | Control Panel | Administrative Tools

Click the Assembly Cache node on the left to view assemblies in a list form.
