Best Black Ops class

Want to know how to create the perfect Black ops class? Choose the best weapon and attachment? Pick the best perks to suit your style of play? We cover 3 of the best classes and discuss why the chosen weapons and perks work well together so that hopefully you'll make good use of them too.

Before you start, remember that when you're creating a class, look at the type of game you want to play. Are you going to be an aggressive player who rushes or a player who wants to sit tight and pick off enemies from distance? Each of the guns, perks and attachments suits different styles so try matching things up:

Some tips:

Most people agree that automatic guns are the best choice as opposed to close range weapons such as the shotgun. Dual mag is probably one of the best attachments, although extended mag or red dot are also pretty good. Ninja Pro is very popular and so is Sleight of Hand. There are so many variations, that you need to try what works best for you..

Ok, here are the custom classes we recommend trying:

Custom class 1

A solid class with good all round strengths. The FAMAS automatic assault rifle is a great gun and with dual mags you get that little bit extra in the tank. You can spray enemies if they get too close and pick off others from medium range. If you do get in a close combat situation then the Semtex can easily be used. Choose Hardline if you prefer not to rush where as Ninja Pro is a must for any class. The pistol is rather useless in black ops so Python with speed reloaded is a standard choice across any class.

Primary: FAMAS (dual mag)
Secondary: PYTHON (with speed reloader)

Semtex (or frag grenade)
Concussion
Claymore (or motion sensor, go for claymore if aggressive player)

Perks: Hardline, Sleight of Hand Pro, Ninja Pro

Custom class 2

An aggressive class using a powerful assault rifle. The AK47 gun is one of the higher tier guns which comes packed with a serious amount of ammo. We choose Claymore here because its a more aggressive choice than the motion sensors. If you're pushing towards the enemy spawn, the claymore is good to litter the surrounded areas and cover your back.

Primary: AK47 (Extended mags) or AK74U (best gun for rushing)
Secondary: Python

Perks: Lightweight Pro, Sleight of hand, Ninja Pro

Custom class 3

A stealth class with a powerful gun. Use the silencer perk to hide gun shots from the map and steady aim for pin point shooting. Use Ghost perk to avoid appearing on enemy radar and of course the pro ninja perk is a must. Stay on the move with this class and use the silence to creep up on enemies unaware.

Primary: AK74U (silencer instead of extended mags)
Secondary: Python
