Tag: minecraft After months and months of speculation, Minecon 2012 will be held in Paris in November 2012. Many thought that London would be Mojang's venue choice but it's the French who will host the most sought after gaming convention in Europe.
What is Minecon?
Minecon is the Minecraft convention, where Minecraft fans of all ages come together to celebrate the world's most popular sandbox game. Last years Minecon was held in Las Vegas in front of thousands of fans but this years Minecon is going to be even bigger!! Disney Land in Paris will host the biggest Minecon to date and we hope to see you there too!
Where can I buy tickets?
The ticket site hasn't been announced yet, but you can expect tickets to sell out very quickly. Notch will release details of the Minecon event in more detail soon. If last year is anything to go by, tickets should go on sale around 11th August and the site will be:
