Minecraft snapshot 12w05 is another of the weekly snapshots from Jeb and Jon. This one contains a lot of new bug fixes and improvements for the new Ocelot mob.

This snapshot is a small incremental update for Minecraft, leading up to the big release for version 1.2. Snapshot 12w05 contains fixes for a lot of mob related bugs including Ocelots being very hard to tame. You have to chase those animals round for ages until you got them under your control! Now thanks to this update, it's a lot easier to tame Ocelots and make cats sit properly.

Also included with this update:

  • Villages will try to find village houses and live in them. They now know where home is!
  • The language files have been updated and about 50% of the rubbish (swear words) removed.
