A simple program provided by Mojang to help you convert your Texture Packs into the new Resource Pack format. Converts any zip file into the new Minecraft 1.6 format automatically.

The texture pack converter tool was first published for Minecraft snapshot 12w24a (part of Minecraft 1.6). It was at this point that everyone's texture packs stopped working and you needed to use the Resource Pack format.

Thankfully, this tool solves all your problems because it can convert any texture pack for you. It's a jar file so you need Java installed but you should have that already because you're playing Minecraft!
