The 77-882 exam forms part of the new Microsoft Office Specialist certifications for Office 2010. The exam tests a candidates proficiency in Excel 2010 and is available to take from the summer of 2010.
As most of you probably know, Office 2010 is the successor to the Office 2007 software from Microsoft. 2010 includes many improvements such as extended file compatibility, user interface updates and a refined user experience. In order to pass this exam you will need to be familiar with all the new features Microsoft has added to Office 2010.
Requirements:Similarly to the Word 2010 exam, you should be comfortable navigating the features of the new Excel 2010 software at both feature and function level. Microsoft suggests that you should know at least 80% of Excel 2010 capabilities. As you might expect, candidates should be able to produce professional spreadsheets for a variety of purposes.
