Service Transition - Stakeholder Management

Stakeholder management is a crucial process in Service Transition and ultimately contributes to the success of any delivered services. By actively involving the stakeholder in the delivery of the new or changed service we increase the chances that we'll meet their requirements.

Stakeholder Management
If stakeholders are involved in Service Transition we can capture any concerns or wishes and accommodate those to push towards a solution that the client will be fully satisfied with. Remember, each stakeholder will have different concerns e.g. how the change will affect their working practices.

Before we start involving the stakeholders we need to know who they are and what they influences are likely to be. The stakeholder management strategy from service design tells us this. IT also outlines what information will be communicated and how feedback will be collected and processed.
